Genealogy Software for Linux

So I have been doing some research into my family history. So I decided to look for genealogy software for Ubuntu. GRAMPS is just such a genealogy program. It helps you organize your family tree, and is capable of exchanging datawith other programs using the GEDCOM standard.

I started my research with SharedTree. It claims to be the Internet’s first completely free, completely online family history and genealogy application. What I like is that they adhere to strict opensource principles. I can export my work using the GEDCOM standard.
